Ferencvaros hosts Barcelona

Ferencvaros hosts Barcelona at the Puskas Arena in Budapest in a fixture from Group G of the Champions League. This is a good opportunity for us to preview this game in our soccer predictions for this week. Let’s get to work!

We will start with the visitors here. Barcelona already qualified for the 1/8-finals of the competition just as Juventus did. Now these two European giants will fight between them for the first place in this group. And what’s going to happen in the remaining two rounds of the group stage will be decisive.

At this moment Barcelona are leading the standings with 3 points advantage in front of Juventus. What Barca need here is to win in Budapest and then host Juve at the Camp Nou for the first place in the group.

It seems that lately Barca are finally starting to get in a better shape. The Catalans won four of their last five matches in all competitions. During the weekend Los Cules hosted Osasuna at the Camp Nou and rocked the Pamplonians with a 4-0 win. Barca played really well although the level of the opposition was not the best one, of course.

Ronald Koeman has some problems with injured players at the moment. Gerard Pique, Sergi Roberto, Ronald Araujo and Ansu Fati are currently sidelined and not avaliable for selection.

Ferencvaros are also having their goals until the end of the Champions League group stage. The Hungarians will rival Dynamo Kyiv for the third place in this group – both teams have one point won so far.

That’s our soccer predictions for this week for the Champions League fixture between Ferencvaros and Barcelona at the Puskas Arena in Budapest. Barca are the favourites here and they know it. We are sure Ferencvaros will give their best, but let’s see if this is going to be enough.
