Chelsea had a good run of results lately, but in their last two matches they got just one point against Nottingham Forest and Liverpool. Because of this the Blues are now 6th in the standings with 14 points won, but just three points behind the 4th Aston Villa and the Top 4. They are not so far away from their goal.

 

Last weekend Chelsea conceded their second loss for the season. Enzo Maresca’s team paid a visit to Liverpool at the Anfield, but suffered a 1-2 defeat against the current Premier League leader. Nicolas Jackson managed to score for Chelsea, executing an assist from Moises Caicedo. But this was it – Liverpool scored their second one just three minutes later.

 

What could Maresca change compared to the match against Liverpool? One of the obvious decisions he could make is bring back Pedro Neto in the starting eleven. Enzo Fernandez and Christopher Nkunku are also among the players who could start for the Londoners.

 

Newcastle are currently 9th in the Premier League with 12 points won – just two points behind Chelsea. The Magpies are not doing well lately, though – two draws and two losses in their last four matches in the league. Now the manager Eddie Howe must think of how to improve the team because the fans are starting to get a bit impatient. In their last match Newcastle faced Brighton & Hove Albion at home, but conceded a 0-1 defeat.
