Bayern Munich faces Freiburg

The old new champion of Germany Bayern Munich faces Freiburg at the Allianz Arena in a game from the 33th round of the Bundesliga. We will deliver you our soccer predictions for this week for this fixture in the Bavarian capital.

During the week Bayern Munich won the title for a 8th consecutive time. The Bavarian giants won against Werder in Bremen, which was enough to claim the title again. They are untouchable at the top now, but we don’t think anyone is surprised by this fact. The season didn’t start in the best way possible for FC Hollywood, but the arrival of Hansi Flick after Niko Kovac’ sacking proved to be a great decision.

The Bundesliga top scorer Robert Lewandowski scored Bayern Munich’s only goal in Bremen. In the end of the first half the Polish striker scored past Pavlenka, while Jerome Boateng provided the assist.

It doesn’t really matter right now, but in this game Bayern Munich will be without the suspended Alphonso Davies. The Canadian fullback was sent off against Werder. Lucas Hernandez could take his place as a left back on Saturday.

After winnng the title we won’t be surprised if Hansi Flick makes some rotations in his line-up. He has many missing players as well – Coutinho, Thiago, Corentin Tolisso, Niklas Sule and Javi Martinez.

Freiburg are getting ready for one final fight for the Top 6 in the Bundesliga. Right now they are 8th in the standings with 45 points, but just one point behind the 6th Wolfsburg. Playing in Europa League is a real possibility for Freiburg, but only if they make a very strong performance in the remaining two rounds.

During the week Freiburg hosted Hertha BSC and celebrated a 2-1 win thanks to the goals of Grifo and Petersen.

That’s our soccer predictions for this week for the Bundesliga clash between Bayern Munich and Freiburg on Saturday. Can Freiburg hurt the champions? It’s never an easy job to do.
