Brentford – Chelsea Preview

Brentford hosts Chelsea at the Brentford Community Stadium in a match from the 8th round of the Premier League. Keep up with us and our free sure soccer tips for this fixture. Here we go!

Brentford are one of the pleasant surprises of the Premier League this season. The Bees are among the newcomers in the league, but they are currently 7th in the standings with 12 points won and a record of three wins, three draws and just one loss. Clearly the manager Thomas Frank and his players deserve compliments for what they are doing since their promotion from the Championship. If they keep up with this tempo they wouldn’t have any problems to remain in the Premier League.

Brentford are proving their quality in the last three rounds – they won 7 points from them. Before the international break the Bees paid a visit to West Ham in the capital and impressed everyone with a 2-1 win against the Hammers. Brian Mbeumo opened the score for Brentford while Yoane Wissa scored a very late winner in the 94th minute. It was dramatic, but a very sweet win for the Bees.

One of the things that impress us is the way Brentford are really playing like a team. Three of their strikers have scored six of their goals so far. This shows us that they are not relying on a single player to score, but they have different men who can do the job. This could be really important for their chances to make something significant this season.

Chelsea look really inspired to win the Premier League again. After triumphing in the Champions League last season, Thomas Tuchel’s team does not leave any doubts with its performance so far. Chelsea are leading the Premier League standings with 16 points won which puts them one point ahead of the second Liverpool. Their only loss so far came in the game against Manchester City at home.

Before the break Chelsea celebrated their 5th win for the season. The Blues hosted Southampton at the Stamford Bridge and scored three times for a 3-1 win. The young Trevoh Chalobah opened the score while Timo Werner and Ben Chilwell secured the win with two late goals in the last ten minutes of the game.

It was a rare start for Timo Werner this season, but the German striker managed to score his first Premier League goal for the campaign. It was a decisive moment because it was 1-1 draw at the moment. The former RB Leipzig star executed an assist from the captain Cesar Azpilicueta and put the ball in the net behind the goalkeeper Alex McCarthy. Chelsea got in easier in the 77th minute when Southampton’s James Ward-Prowse got sent off.

Some players were missing for the Premier League leaders in the last game. N’Golo Kante, Reece James and Christian Pulisic were all absent in the last game, so we should see if they will be ready to enter the pitch against Brentford.

Chelsea’s fans got happy with the performance of Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Ross Barkley against Southampton. These two midfielders were feeling unappreciated lately, but against the Saints they showed Thomas

Tuchel they probably deserve a place in the team. Meanwhile the summer signing Saul remains on the bench as he suffers a really difficult start of life in England.

That’s the free sure soccer tips for the Premier League clash between Brentford and Chelsea on October 16. The hosts are full of confidence after their brilliant start of the season, but now they are facing the leaders. This game holds many questions for the fans, so let’s see the answers.
